What do you get when you team up a doctor, a boat builder, a graphic artist, and a Muzak producer? The answer is obviously Seattle’s simian-named Sub Pop band Gorilla. Inspired by Northwest garage rockers like The Sonics, these guys don’t monkey around (sorry) with their ’60s-infused brand of punk. This 7” was the September 1991 installment of the Sub Pop Singles Club. Limited to 4,500 copies on gray vinyl.
