Dinosaur Jr. weren’t the only noise makers out of Massachusetts to catch Sub Pop’s ears. Green Magnet School were an experimental outfit spearheading genre crossover with their blend of noise rock and industrial music. Their first 7-inch for Sub Pop for the Singles Club showcases just how raucous they could get with the frentic mashing of static and guitar pedal wizardry.
