The emo-rock brainchild Strictly Ballroom was formed by a few Los Angeles DJ from KXLU radio. This release showcased their signature angst and catharsis with the backdrop of delicate and airy guitarwork. The remix version of this song on side B has a disruptive depth that, of course, warps the original song, but brings it into a different sonic dimension. And fun fact, Jimmy Tamborello (DJ Dntel) went on to be one of the lead members of The Postal Service.
