Today, musician and actress Suki Waterhouse releases “My Fun” and “Faded,” a pair of sparkling new tunes that are out now worldwide on all DSPs from Sub Pop.
“My Fun” is an exuberant, Stones-y pop jam, while “Faded” is a sweet midtempo ballad, and each features colorful, stop motion-style animation visuals from Callum Scott-Dyson (Iron & Wine’s “Anyone’s Game”).
Callum says, “We went with a vibrant, fun, and choppy card cut stop motion animated style for these two videos, inspired by Monty Python and other great cut-out animators. I really enjoyed making them and working with Suki. The songs had a nice differentiation in vibe, so I went with super saturated and bright for ‘My Fun;’ and then a little more washed out for ‘Faded.’”
“My Fun” was composed by Suki Waterhouse, Natalie Findlay, and Jules Apollinaire, with lyrics by Waterhouse and Findlay, and produced by Apollinaire. “Faded” was composed by Waterhouse, Raj Jain, and Peter Labberton, with lyrics by Waterhouse and Jain, and produced by Jain, Labberton, Eli Hirsch, and apob. Both songs were mixed by Blue May and mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios.
“My Fun” and “Faded” will be on her forthcoming album, due out later this year.
Suki Waterhouse will perform at the Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival this Friday, April 12th, closing out the Gobi Stage at 10:30 pm. She will play again on Friday, April 19th (set time and stage TBD).
Later this summer, she’ll appear at Seattle’s Day In Day Out on Saturday, July 13th.
Suki Waterhouse has been working nonstop as a musician since the 2022 release of her Sub Pop debut, I Can’t Let Go. She followed the album with the standalone single and official video for “Nostalgia” and the Milk Teeth EP (featuring the Gold-certified single “Good Looking,” which went viral on TikTok and peaked at #1 on Spotify’s Viral USA Chart). In 2023, Suki released the single and official video for “To Love,” the song “Everyday’s A Lesson in Humility,” a summery collaboration with Belle and Sebastian, and in August, joined Local Natives on a reimagining of their single, “NYE.”
Last year, Suki played to some of the largest crowds of her career in South America (Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile), the US (Governor’s Ball, Ohana, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits Festivals), and Mexico (at Corona Capital). Suki also starred as Karen Sirko in “Daisy Jones & The Six,” the Emmy-nominated Amazon Prime Video limited series based on the popular book by Taylor Jenkins Reid.
Suki Waterhouse is ringing in the new year with her jubilantly sleazy new pop single “OMG,” available worldwide on all DSPs from Sub Pop. She also stars in the vintage and cinematic official video for the single helmed by returning director Émilie Richard-Froozan (“Nostalgia” video). “OMG” will be on her forthcoming album, due out later this year.
“OMG” was written by Suki and Natalie Findlay, produced by Jules Apollinaire at TTRRUUCES HQ in London, mixed by Alex Farrar, and mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios.

Today, Friday, December 1st, Suki Waterhouse brings the holiday cheer with a cover of “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas,” which will be available as a one-month-only stream and download through Bandcamp. This driving, moody, and fuzzy new take on the holiday classic was produced by Medasin and Boy Deco and mixed and mastered by Medasin, all in Los Angeles.
A portion of the “Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas” single proceeds will go to A Sense of Home, the Los Angeles nonprofit organization.
A Sense of Home’s core belief is that a home full of hope, dignity, and love is the first step to forging a successful life. Their mission is to create first-ever homes for former foster youth to stop the cycle of homelessness.
Suki says, “Celebrating the holidays by creating this cover of ‘Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas’ was an absolute joy, and I’m thrilled to support A Sense of Home, a cause that’s been close to my heart since 2019.”
Georgie Smith, A Sense of Home’s founder and CEO, says, “We are so moved by Suki’s humanitarianism and dedication. In 2019, she created a home for a young mother, Liz, and her daughter, Naomi. Both of whom are thriving today, thanks to Suki. We are thrilled to share in the joy of Suki’s new beautiful song, which will enable us to create more homes for deserving young people exiting foster care.
Suki Waterhouse has been winning over audiences across the globe touring in support of the Milk Teeth EP (featuring the hit single “Good Looking,” which went viral on TikTok and peaked at #1 on Spotify’s Viral USA Chart) and her Brad Cook-produced (The War On Drugs, Bon Iver) debut album, I Can’t Let Go, both released in 2022 via Sub Pop.
In 2023, Suki wrapped the “Coolest Place in the World Tour,” her sold-out North American headline run with stops in New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago. That spring, she released the single and official video for “To Love.” In June, Suki followed it by releasing “Everyday’s A Lesson in Humility,” a summery collaboration with Belle and Sebastian, and in August, joined Local Natives on a reimagining of their single, “NYE.”
Suki also played to some of the largest crowds of her career in South America (Lollapalooza in Argentina, Brazil, and Chile), the US (Governor’s Ball, Ohana, and Austin City Limits Festivals), and most recently, in Mexico (at Corona Capital). About A Sense of Home: A Sense of Home’s mission is to prevent homelessness by creating first-ever homes and a community of care for youth aging out of the foster care system. Kids who are removed from their family are placed in foster care and are moved from place to place, never having a home where they belong. Once they age out of foster care, these young people are alone in the world, and home becomes ever more elusive. 50% of the homeless population spent time in foster care.
The average American child is completely financially dependent on their parents until age 24, and almost 60% are dependent on their parents until age 29. 50% of this is spent on housing. For a foster youth with no family support — it is understandable why so many are confronted with homelessness.
A Sense of Home began as a random act of kindness and has become a movement — emboldening the community to become family to foster youth — the family that they’ve never had. In only 90 minutes, volunteers create a dream home, and lives are instantly changed. Watch how it is done here.
85% of those ASOH serve are young women, and 65% have children of their own. ASOH is also preventing another generation from being placed in foster care.
The model has been so successful in LA — creating 900 homes in 8 short years — that it will soon scale to NYC and other cities.
Today, Local Natives release a reimagining of the single “NYE” featuring singer-songwriter Suki Waterhouse. The original version of the song premiered on BBC Radio 6 Music and comes off their fifth studio LP Time Will Wait For No One which arrived earlier this month via Loma Vista. The latest version of “NYE” is dreamy, romantic and stripped-down, with Suki’s vocals adding a contemplative bend - turning a song fit for a house party in the hills into a sunset drive to the beach. The release is accompanied by a performance video directed by Joseph Wasilewski that sees the band in the studio with Suki, watch it HERE.
Suki Waterhouse says, “I’ve been a massive fan of Local Natives for a long time and it was such a fun experience to be in the studio with them. I’m so thrilled that I got to sing on this record with them.”

Time Will Wait For No One showcases the band’s seminal SoCal harmonies and was recorded across historic LA recording studios with Grammy award winning producer John Congleton (Angel Olsen, Death Cab For Cutie, St. Vincent, Sharon Van Etten), Michael Harris (Lana Del Rey, Feist), and Danny Reisch (Sun June, Other Lives).
Following two hometown nights at the Ford Theater in LA to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the band’s sophomore LP Hummingbird, the band will embark on the Time Will Wait For No One Tour. The 25-city nationwide tour kicks off in Minneapolis on August 18 and criss-crosses the US all summer, including performances at NYC’s Pier 17 on August 29, two nights at DC’s 9:30 Club on August 24 and 25 and Austin’s Stubbs on September 16.
Today, June 13th, marks the release of “Every Day’s a Lesson in Humility,” a new collaboration from Suki Waterhouse and Belle and Sebastian, available now on all DSPs and as a limited-edition vinyl 7”.

Belle and Sebastian’s most recent output, 2022s A Bit Of Previous, and its surprise follow-up, Late Developers, in early 2023, saw the band continuing to reinvent itself while remaining true to its independent spirit. They will support both albums with a series of UK, and EU dates this summer.

In March, vocalist and songwriter Suki Waterhouse released the intimate “To Love,” a new single, and her contribution to the Sub Pop Singles Club, Vol. 8. Rolling Stone says, “the British musician exchanges her signature sad girl heartbreak songwriting for a warmer and more optimistic take on romance.”
Today, watch the premiere of the shimmering official video for “To Love,” which stars Suki and her sister Immy, features choreography from Sharon June, and is helmed by award-winning Black Dog Films director, screenwriter, and arts editor Sophie Edelstein.
Suki says of the video, “Love is a powerful force that deserves to be celebrated in all its forms, and when Sophie and I were discussing the creative, we wanted to use this video to capture that sentiment and hint at a hidden meaning, inviting you to embrace the full experience of being in love. It’s coordinated yet impulsive and raw, reflecting the complexity and beauty of human relationships.”
Edelstein shares this of the visual, “Suki sent me ‘To Love’ in December, and I was immediately moved by the sensuality, the honesty, and the romance of the song. It felt both nostalgic and modern, fresh and iconic in one breath. I couldn’t get the song out of my head! I was immediately inspired and liked the idea of moving between black and white and color, using color as the basis of the emotional journey of the song …We started exchanging images and ideas, which we found we were both drawn to. We kept it simple and true, and the idea of “the twin” blossomed from our discussions about love. It was very organic. The ‘To Love’ video reflects both the song and Suki as an artist. Confident. Simple. Iconic. Deeply romantic and sensual.”
“To Love” will also be released in June on a 7” single that will be available exclusively via the Sub Pop Singles Club Vol. 8, the label’s limited edition singles series, with only 835 subscriptions available—subscribe to the series here.
